Online Paper Submission

We invite you to first submit a 2-page abstract of your work.

After review, and in case of acceptance, we encourage you to revise your manuscript according to the reviewers’ comments and to possibly extend your manuscript to 3 or 4 pages(maximum)  providing more information on your work, and to resubmit a final paper.

Selected papers will be peer reviewed for publication in IWA Publishing’s journals

All submissions are handled via the following platform where corresponding authors have to provide personal details and the name of the co-authors.

Important Dates

Papers must be submitted on the platform no later than January 11, 2019. Submitted papers will undergo a peer review process, coordinated by the Program and Organizing Committees. Authors will be notified of acceptance or rejection by March 1st 2019. Accepted papers in final form must be received no later than May 17 2019.

Instructions

Submission Procedures

  • You are invited to submit an abstract for oral or poster presentation using the corresponding template. Template is available here.
  • Abstracts are limited to maximum of 2 pages of text (A4) including the title, keywords, main text and illustrations (i.e. tables, figures, etc).
  • Abstract must contain adequate information to allow a sound review: an introduction, concise details of methods and results, and conclusions. 
  • Selection criteria include high technical quality, relevance to the Conference themes, and significant information content. Abstracts that are deemed commercial in nature will not be accepted.
  • Further information regarding registration for the 9th Specialized Conference on Sustainable Viticulture, Winery Wastes & Agro-industrial Wastewater Management (Winery2019) is available here
  • The submission deadline for abstracts is 11 January 2019.  Submissions will be peer-reviewed and authors will be notified of the decision on their paper following the final meeting of the Programme Committee on 1 March 2019.

Submission Process Steps

The following sequence of actions is the only method for submitting material for oral or poster presentation at the Conference.

You will be asked to enter:

  1. The title of your abstract (max 100 character)
  2. The conference theme that is most appropriate for your abstract (make selection from the available options)
  3. Presentation type (Oral presentation, Poster presentation)
  4. Keywords to help classify your paper (3-6 in number)
  5. Details of co-authors, if any
  6. Nomination of presenting author

Once these steps are achieved, you can still edit and complete your profile here and use the Login and Password contained in an attached pdf file in the confirmation mail.

You can also come back to finish your abstract as many times as needed until 11 January 2019.
